Season 2 Ep. 7: The Tables Turn
On Saturday, September 23, 2018, two college-aged women approached a night club in a small city about two hours from Seattle, Washington. The women were enrolled in the local college and had just spent the past few weeks with their heads in the books and their butts in the library, preparing for mid-terms which would soon be approaching in a couple of weeks. But tonight, they were out to have fun.
One of them was a Sociology major with dreams of going to law school and the other studied Political Science. Her father was a local politician and she had dreams of following in his footsteps. They both wanted to use their privilege to make the world just a little bit better and a little bit brighter for people less fortunate. And honestly, if more people had their positive intentions, I would agree—the world would be a better place.
Some might even say the two women were perfect. At least, one person felt that way.
